Zebra and Egret  is an Original Oil -  48 x 56.  It is painted on fine portrait linen canvas, a favorite for detailed work.  This classic oil is painted on portrait linen canvas of the highest quality which is a favorite of mine for detailed works.  It is stretched on Heavy Duty stretcher bars - 1.5" thick for max support for a painting of this size.  The edges are taped with a special black tape that is used for this purpose and which finishes the sides for immediate hanging and presentation - while the  painting can also be finished further with a frame of choice if desired.

About this painting:  The Zebra is such a beautiful animal.  The unique and eye-catching stripes of a zebra’s coat have always been a favorite of mine and  when my son was a ‘little guy’,  the zebras were a 'must see' on the many afternoons we spent at the zoo.   I think many of us find the classic beauty of the striped zebra a favorite.
