Wine Country - Change of Seasons - Limited Edition Prints are available on canvas - and at the size of 28w x 18h only.   Each print  is signed and numbered by the artist and is extensively hand embellished and highlighted which creates a look and feel of the original painting.  

About the original painting:  This image is a purely fictional place and was painted while we lived in Oregon for a year in the middle of wine country there.  The most beautiful sight was during that short period of time when the vines of a vineyard would turn beautiful colors.  I was also inspired by memories of a trip to the wine country of Argentina where the Andes mountains were the backdrop and we where we also caught the amazing-ness of the vines changing colors.

 

The title of this painting  holds a deeper meaning for me.  When working on it,  I reflected on the changes of 'seasons' in a person’s life.  For many, they may think of aging and those inevitable ‘seasons’ of life, but I was reflecting about the different adventures one goes through with the different places they go to or live - different business and work adventures and  eras of strong friendships, schooling… etc.
