Cheetah and Palm is an Original Oil  sized 14 x 22.  This painting is painted on portrait quality linen canvas which is a favorite of mine when I have to use for detailed artworks.

The original has been custom framed as pictured and can be purchased with or without the frame.   The Original Oil painting  'Cheetah and Palm'  is available as well as Limited Edition Prints which are signed and numbered by the artist and as  Prints of various sizes and printed on different materials to choose from to have it printed on along with frame choices. 

About the painting:  Classic and a bit whimsical at the same time - 'Cheetah and Palm'  was painted as a companion piece to 'Monkeys and Bananas' and they really do look fantastic together as a pair-  as seen in the photo shown of the two custom framed paintings over the sofa.  

I began this series of paintings - of which there are only 3 at this point - with idea, that I originally drew up and designed prior to painting of having design and decor solution that would be classic in appeal and would feature element from tropics - like palms, and banana trees along with  animals of classic appeal.    These paintings where something that would look well in my own home and I loved the idea of featuring favorite animals in this classic way.

Bottom line is I would like to paint more of these.... but, thus far have been busy on other projects!

**Special note  about the frame**  This is a high quality, custom frame  and the pricing offered to you at a near wholesale price - I have a number of paintings available from time to time that have been framed for display purposes and any great deal you are able to take advantage of when offered this way cannot be duplicated. 

 

I have a very limited number of paintings or prints from time to time available already custom framed. 

These paintings or prints may have been used for a photo project, designer showcase or exhibition.   In the case of Cheetah and Palm and Monkeys and Bananas,  if you would like to purchase either  framed as in the photo $175.00 will be added to the cost of the original painting.   This frame adds Approx. 3"  to each side of the painting.

I love animals and I love a flavor of tropics which is the feeling I was wanting to create with these images that combine these animals with palms, and in one a banana tree.  There are 3 images in this small series - which  also includes Zebra and Palm.   I think all of them  have a classic yet whimsical feeling and are in  colors that can add a terrific accent to many spaces.
