The Power is Within - Prints are created from an original 18" x 24" image painted with acrylic paints on a loose canvas for a special 'Lift the Sky' project in which artists from around the world were invited to create an image  sending their message to the world.  The words on this banner are my message(s).

My image represents the lengthy, not 'easy' -  sometimes steep - and perhaps challenging path - or journey - that one travels as one moves through life, or through a worthwhile project, or works to accomplish a big goal.  The twists and turns - and the ups and downs.  

The image at the top is one, that at times I like to imagine and hold in my mind as well the way I've felt before in life after a particular 'mission accomplished' or a job, I think, well done.  At the top of the path,  arms raised up in victory, the sun shining and a beautiful rainbow of a new day after a particular 'mission accomplished' or a job, I think, well done. 

I love that feeling and I'd like more of these moments!   This image is something I keep in mind and hold in my imagination these days at times while on 'the journey'!

For the project, this original image is being sewn together with others  in a collection of banners to travel to various locations.  There is a planned book to be published about the project.  The project is still in the works and being added to.
