Since I first began my journey as an artist, beginning with my work in glass, I’ve enjoyed working with collectors, both seasoned and first timers to create commissioned artworks.
You can contact me with questions regarding an artwork you have in mind by using the 'form' below and telling me more!
The process of a commissioned artwork often begins with a particular subject the client has in mind is often for a particular space. After learning more from the client, I present ideas. Always this involves conversations with the client and their input - and always the client has seen and appreciated other works of mine. It is through our conversation(s) that ideas will solidify if not already clear.
I am typically able to present rough drawings and / or 'mock ups' of final ideas - sometimes done - on the computer along with a solid idea as to color palette.
Most recently I have begun photographing works in progress more regularly throughout the time I am working on it and I have been able to give the collector a fun video of the work in progress and on to completion.
It would be my pleasure to schedule a conversation about an artwork you have in mind.
Regarding pricing: If you are very familiar with my work, you
know that I may have paintings that are very researched and
may be extremely detailed - like the drawing you see being
transferred onto the canvas in the photo to the left. Some of
these paintings have been called ‘Masterworks’ – while other paintings are much more simplistic in design and in execution. These are the things that make a difference in the pricing of an artwork of any given size.
A clear example of this would be the simplicity of ‘A Visit with O’Keeffe’ (below on left) vs. (below on right) - 'Glamara' - a recent commissioned painting featuring a private label wine of a family vineyard. Quotes will be given individually and all effort is made to offer suggestions based on client budget and desired artwork.
At this time I have created commissioned artworks from $500 to over $70,000.
